Get started early. You don't have to get up in the middle of the night, but make sure you have time to eat, workout, and maybe even study before going to class.

Don't hand in the first draft of any paper. Allow yourself to have enough time to make changes to your paper when necessary. Do not just proofread your paper, but write another draft. Then, proofread this draft and make any needed changes. When you do this, your paper will contain all necessary information.
